Poetry Society members competition opens today
The autumn Poetry Society competition opens today for members only. Members can submit up to 2 poems, each a maximum of 40 lines, by the deadline of 1 August 2025. The theme is 'clearing', which can be interpreted as a noun or a verb. Entries are via Submittable. For more information see here.
National Poetry Competition now open!
The Poetry Society's National Poetry Competition 2025 is now open. Entries cost £8 for the first poem and £6 for subsequent poems. Poetry Society members can enter a second poem for free.
