Poetry Society members competition opens today

The autumn Poetry Society competition opens today for members only. Members can submit up to 2 poems, each a maximum of 40 lines, by the deadline of 1 August 2025. The theme is 'clearing', which can be interpreted as a noun or a verb. Entries are via Submittable. For more information see here.

National Poetry Competition now open!

The Poetry Society's National Poetry Competition 2025 is now open. Entries cost £8 for the first poem and £6 for subsequent poems. Poetry Society members can enter a second poem for free. Oxford Poetry Prize Competition accepting entries

The 2025 Oxford Poetry is now open for entries from poets around the world. This year’s guest judge is Rebecca Tamás. Poems must be 50 lines or less. Deadline is 31 August. Entry fee is £10 per poem.  For more details, see here
