Winchester Poetry Prize competition 2025 now open

The Winchester Poetry Prize competition opened on 3 April 2025 and will be judged by Wiltshire-born poet, Fiona Benson. Entry fee is £6 for the first poem and £5 for any additional poems. Prizes range from £250 (3rd) to a generous £1000 (1st), with the Kathryn Bevis Prize to be awarded to a poet living in Hampshire. Winners and runners up will have their poems published in a competition anthology. Results will be announced and prizes given at a ceremony during the Winchester Poetry Festival (10-12th October 2025).
