Consilience journal: submission themes for issue 25 and 26

Consilience journal features poems and artwork about science, linked by a common theme. The next two submission windows are:

30 March-5 April 2026 for Issue 25 ‘Pollution’
29 June-5 July 2026 for Issue 26 ‘Birds’.

Poems and artwork in all languages are welcome.

All submissions must relate to science and include a detailed science statement “that clearly explains the link between the poem and the theme of the journal issue”. Each poem should be a maximum of 40 lines, excluding blank lines, title and epigraph. There is the option for peer review/feedback.

The ecopoet ,Yvonne Reddick, has written a substack post with poetry prompts to help with writing poems for Issue 25 ‘Pollution’.
