“Becoming Unmapped”: submit to a curated collection of art about dementia

“Becoming Unmapped” invites visual artists and writers to “explore and redraw the maps” as a multidisciplinary creative project about dementia. The project is looking for:

• Work that reflects the shifting terrain of memory, perception, and presence
• Responses that are fragmentary, abstract, narrative, or emotive.
• Art rooted in lived experience, empathy, or imagination.
• Submissions that honour complexity and open space for tenderness, discomfort, and truth.

Work that is selected will form part of a public exhibition (online and physical).
The submissions deadline is 24 April 2026
