Magma’s 2025/26 poetry competition now open

Magma‘s competition has opened for entries into two poetry categories: poems up to 10 lines and poems of 11-50 lines . Poems must be submitted by 31 January 2026. Prizes of £1000, £300 and £150 will be awarded to the winning poems of each category, with an additional 5 “special mentions”.

Entry fees are £5 for the first poem, with discounts for subsequent poems and also for Magma subscribers.
