“After the End” Poetry competition now open

The University of Oxford, in partnership with the National Poetry Centre, have launched their 2025 poetry competition on the the theme of ‘After the End’. The competition is part of a research project which aims to explore “time, temporality and the question of endings”.

After the End competition welcomes poems of up to 40 lines, of any style or genre, from poets of all experience levels. Poems must be submitted by the deadline of 1 December 2025. Winners (first prize £200 and two prizes of £100) will be announced in early February 2026. For further details see here.
