Dark Poets Club international prize competition now open

Dark Poets Club, the online magazine for unsettling or darker-themed poetry, have announced that their fourth international prize competition is open. The theme of the competition is “finding beauty within the shadows”.

Poets are asked to submit poems up to 250 words each (not including title) by the deadline of 30 November 2025. Unusually, previously published poems are eligible for submission. Entry fee is £6 per poem (£10 for 3 or £14 for 5 poems). Results will be announced in January 2026. A portion of all submissions will be donated to mental health charity SANE.
