Poems on the Move competition opens on 15 September

If you’d like to plan far ahead, the 2025 Poems on the Move competition will be opening on 15 September for poems of 14 lines or less. Entries cost £5 or £12 for 3. There are also additional categories for young people and Channel Island residents. The deadline is 14 January 2026, so plenty of time to get writing. First prize is £1000. Finalists will have the opportunity for their poems to be displayed in exhibitions at Guernsey airport and Guernsey Harbours and also on Guernsey buses. Further information can be found here.
