Watch the Laurel Prize ceremony online – free

The Laurel Prize celebrates collections of environmental and nature poetry that highlight the climate crisis and global ecological issues. The live stream of the 2025 Laurel Prize ceremony will be online at 5.30pm on Friday 19 September. You can watch by booking a free ticket on the Poetry School website. (You will receive a link by email 1 hour before the ceremony begins).

The ceremony will have readings from the finalists, and discussion from the judges, poets Kathleen Jamie (chair), Daljit Nagra and Caroline Lucas, the former leader of the Green Party of England and Wales. The winner of 2025 Laurel Prize will be announced at the end of the ceremony.
