Scottish Wildlife Trust ‘from source to sea’ competition – deadline soon

The deadline for Words of the Wild Competition, ends soon, on 12 July. The competition, run by The Scottish Wildlife Trust in association with the Scottish International Storytelling Festival is on the theme From source to sea. Submissions must clearly show a connection with Scottish nature and a close link to the theme.

Entries are free and can be in the format of a poem, story, letter, essay or song lyrics. Only one submission is permitted, with a max of 1000 words. Note the judging criteria for the voluntary readers here which will help to indicate if your entry might be filtered out in the initial judging stages.

The competition organisers are also looking for voluntary readers to help with the longlisting procedure.
