Fox and Star Books first call for submissions of poetry chapbooks

New publisher, Fox and Star Books, are launching their first call for submissions for debut poetry chapbooks by poets resident in the UK. They will be accepting initial submissions of a cover letter and three poems/five pages from 15 June-15 July, with a reading fee of £10.. From those submissions they will announce a longlist. They are offering twenty free entries for poets who cannot afford the fee, offered on a first-come basis.

Fox and Star Books was founded by Carrie Etter, poet and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Bristol. Co-editor is Kaycee Hill, whose first collection Hot Sauce, was published by Bloodaxe in 2023.
