Nottingham: open call for Nature Poet Laureate

Nottingham City of Literature have announced an open call for a Nature Poet Laureate. Applications will close on 28th April 2025 at 12 noon. Applicants must be an early career writer, aged under 35, and must live, work or study in Nottinghamshire. There will be a stipend of £350 per month for a commitment of at least 1 day per month for an 18-month period. Applicants will need

experience of public speaking, a passion for engaging young people with poetry, awareness of the issues affecting young people in Nottingham and globally and “a wide knowledge of poetry and the poetry landscape”.
